{"id":21347,"date":"2023-03-31T10:05:39","date_gmt":"2023-03-31T08:05:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nomos.de\/?post_type=mediadata&#038;p=21347"},"modified":"2026-02-06T10:36:03","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T09:36:03","slug":"indbez","status":"publish","type":"mediadata","link":"https:\/\/www.nomos.de\/en\/journals\/indbez\/","title":{"rendered":"Industrielle Beziehungen (IndBez)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n    <h2 class=\"mediadata__anchor-headline\"><span id=\"about\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>About <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Industrial relations<\/strong><\/em> are those networks, institutions and systems in which the various actors in the world of work are integrated and with which they factually shape and normatively regulate their economic exchange relations and social conflict relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, it is no longer sufficient to describe these actors with the traditional dichotomous model of capital and labor; their manifold differentiation into roles, coalitions and organizations as well as their increasing interdependence require more complex analytical concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Anglo-Saxon countries, <em><strong>industrial relations<\/strong><\/em> was able to establish itself early on as an independent field of science and practice. In the German-speaking world, this field received attention only from a small circle of specialists from different disciplines, although the German institutional solution to industrial conflict was studied with great interest in many countries because of its success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, greater attention has been paid to <em><strong>industrial relations<\/strong><\/em> in Germany as well. It is primarily the organizational and technical upheavals in the world of work and the political changes in Europe that pose new challenges to scholars and practitioners. European unification provokes the comparison of historically developed national systems of industrial relations and raises the question of their efficiency for conflict and problem management in a dynamic economy determined by global competition. Industrial relations are now also seen as a central task of management. Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>IndBez<\/em><\/strong> is a double-blind peer review journal. All incoming articles are subject to the peer review process. Miscellanies, research, project, conference and exhibition reports are reviewed by the Scientific Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incoming articles are forwarded by the Editorial Board to the Scientific Management. The Scientific Board reviews the manuscripts and decides whether to reject them or to initiate the peer review process. The members of the Scientific Management propose reviewers. When the peer review process is initiated, the author is informed by the Scientific Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One member of the Scientific Management is responsible for each article. The editorial office takes care of the communication with the reviewers. As a rule, the reviewers are given about 4 weeks for their review. The reviewers receive the form &#8220;Review&#8221; for the preparation of their reviews. The editorial office sends the reports to the person in charge, who summarizes the results and communicates them to the other members of the WL. The result is communicated by the editorial office to the author. If accepted, the author is given a deadline to revise the article. After resubmission, the revised article will be reviewed again by the person in charge of the WL and the result will be communicated to the other members of the WL.
