It places particular emphasis on the latest research findings in China and Europe across the entire field of law. The journal is characterised by a comprehensive, open and interdisciplinary perspective and aims to promote equal dialogue between the very different legal systems of China and Europe (by Europe being primarily understood as a concept linked by a common cultural tradition and including the member states of the EU, the EFTA and the EEA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journal welcomes academic contributions from all areas of law, with a particular focus on innovative topics and new issues in the field of legal studies. Questions relating to the practical application of law will also be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journal advocates free and equal academic dialogue between China and Europe and promotes a deeper understanding of scientific exchange between the two sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The sections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Legal articles <br>Publication of longer academic papers focusing on comparative law between China and Europe and on private international law, criminal law and commercial law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review articles <br>Publication of systematic and comparative reviews of the state of research on specific legal issues and current legal developments in various areas of law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Case comments  <br>Thematic comments and dialogues on classic and current cases and court decisions that are of great research significance for the relationship between China and Europe; publication of comparative analysis studies on typical Chinese-European cases and legal practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Book Reviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Forum <br>The forum provides a platform for discussing current legal issues and new developments that affect both the Chinese and European legal systems. In addition, the structure, linguistic expression and logical connections of the manuscript must be analysed in detail in order to assess whether the manuscript meets the publication requirements and to make initial suggestions for changes and recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Double-blind peer review<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsible: Advisory board and\/or external experts (peers). <br>The procedure ensures the scientific neutrality of the decision through strict anonymisation (double-blind) and independent assessment competence. Based on the initial review, the peers must conduct an in-depth examination of the manuscript (which may have already been revised once), with a particular focus on whether the issues raised in the initial review have been resolved and whether the quality of the manuscript has been significantly improved. The overall quality and publication value of the manuscript must be re-evaluated and, if necessary, further suggestions for changes must be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Editorial decision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsible: Editorial board. <br>The decision by the editors is the final stage of quality control for the manuscript and is made primarily on the basis of publication policy and scientific impact through a comprehensive review to determine whether the manuscript can be published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Triple proofreading<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First proofreading<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsible: Professional proofreaders.<br>The proofreaders must carry out a word-for-word and sentence-by-sentence language correction in accordance with the original manuscript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Second proofreading<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsible: Professional proofreaders. <br>The second proofreading involves a detailed re-proofreading of the manuscript based on the first proofreading, with a particular focus on checking for errors overlooked in the first proofreading, while also further checking the content of the manuscript, such as sentence fluency, data accuracy, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Third proofreading<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsible: Responsible experienced proofreader. <br>The third proofreading is a comprehensive review of the manuscript and must ensure that the manuscript meets all publication requirements in terms of text, punctuation and layout.
