Michael Buchmann (43) takes over overall sales management of Nomos Verlag as of April 1, 2023<\/h3>\n \n

As of April 1, 2023, Michael Buchmann will take over the overall sales management of Nomos Verlag and, in addition to the activities of the Nomos eLibrary, will also manage the sales of all of the publisher’s products in the future. Book and journal sales, title data management, author services, and delivery coordination will report to him, as will the eLibrary team and address management.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Michael Buchmann studied philosophy and literary studies at the universities of Karlsruhe, Freiburg, and Basel, and is a trained retail bookseller and certified IT business administrator. After working in the book trade and as a research assistant, he joined Nomos in 2016 as a key account manager, initially responsible for coordinating direct sales to libraries. In 2020, he was appointed Sales Manager of Nomos eLibrary, and in 2022, Department Manager eLibrary\/CRM. In the course of these activities, Michael Buchmann has primarily expanded Nomos Verlag’s science portal and has been able to win numerous other quality publishers as partners.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
