With its new podcast, ‘recht:zeitig<\/a>‘, Nomos Verlag is launching a discussion series that combines legal expertise with social relevance. Behind the podcast is a team of six legal scholars: Prof. Dr Susanne Beck, Prof. Dr Stefanie Bock, Prof. Dr Charlotte Schmitt-Leonardy, Prof. Dr Georgia Stefanopoulou, Prof. Dr Dana Valentiner and Prof. Dr Liane W\u00f6rner. Together with a large group of advisory board members, they ensure academic rigour and thematic diversity.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s polarisation, populism, digitalisation or global shifts in power \u2013 ‘recht:zeitig’ aims to make sensitive issues and complex problems accessible. It is aimed at anyone who wants to understand more clearly the role that the law plays in these matters: members of the public with an interest in law, journalists, students, politicians and academics in related disciplines.<\/p>\n

The basic principle: differing opinions are welcome. ‘recht:zeitig’ encourages productive debate \u2013 conducted in a respectful and well-informed manner.<\/p>\n

From 28 May, the founders of \u2018recht:zeitig\u2019 will be introducing themselves and the focus of the new podcast on all the major podcast platforms.<\/p>\n

The first regular episode (001) is devoted to the topic of freedom of expression and will be broadcast on 11 June. The guest is the lawyer and journalist Ronen Steinke.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
