Dirk Trompetter becomes new Head of Digital Projects at Nomos

The digital expert will take over as Head of Digital Projects at Nomos Verlag in Baden-Baden from November

Dirk Trompetter succeeds Niklas Kohlgraf, who is leaving the company at his own request at the end of the year to pursue new professional challenges. Most recently, Trompetter was Chief Product Officer at crossbuilders in Cologne, where he worked on the development of innovative digital strategies. During this time, he also worked as Interim Head of Project Management at pooliestudios and played a key role in the successful realisation of various projects, including for Nomos Verlag. Prior to this, Dirk Trompetter drove forward the digital orientation at Handelsblatt and later worked as Head of Digital Media at VDI Verlag. With his expertise and knowledge, Dirk Trompetter will play a valuable role in the further digital development of Nomos Verlag.

“I am delighted that in Dirk Trompetter we have gained a proven expert for the further development of the publishing house’s digital products and for the digital transformation of products and work processes, who will enrich our team with his technical expertise and personality. I would like to thank Niklas Kohlgraf for the past few years and the many projects he has realised and wish him all the best,” explains Nomos Managing Director Thomas Gottlöber.

I am looking forward to my new role in helping to shape the digital landscape of Nomos Verlag. Our goal is to strengthen and further develop our digital products in order to further expand the publisher’s market position.

Over the past two years, Nomos Verlag has made significant progress with its digital products and the digitalisation of work processes. For example, the Nomos eLibrary has been redesigned in both the front end and the back end. In addition, the internationalisation of the websites and the migration of digital products to improved servers were successfully implemented. The publisher’s digital advertising channels were also restructured and various work processes were digitised.
