Italian academic publisher expands Inlibras international portfolio

Inlibra welcomes the publisher Ledizioni from Milan as a new partner. The academic publisher expands the Inlibra portfolio with publications from the social sciences and humanities.

Ledizioni is an innovation-driven author-led publisher that focuses on digital publishing and is a pioneer in the field of open access publications in Italy. The publisher was founded in 2008 and publishes books and journals in Italian, English and other languages. Ledizioni publishes over twenty journals, including ‘Filologia Germanica – Germanic Philology’, ‘DIKE, Rivista di storia del diritto greco ed ellenistico’, ‘Q-Digito. Quaderni di Organizzazione e Trasformazione Digitale della Giustizia’ and ‘Jlis – Italian Journal of Library and Information Science’.

Thomas Gottlöber, Managing Director of Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft, which operates Inlibra, explains: “With Ledizioni, we are strengthening our international network and expanding our range, particularly in the social sciences and humanities. Our aim is to continuously make it easier for researchers and libraries worldwide to access high-quality academic literature – across publishers, internationally and focused on the future.”

The partnership with Ledizioni further strengthens Inlibra’s position as an international platform for academic literature. This provides researchers and students a quick and easy access to important scientific texts.

We are pleased to join Inlibra as a distribution partner. Since its founding in 2008, Ledizioni has been committed to making high-quality scholarly research in the humanities and social sciences accessible to the widest possible audience through digital-first and open-access publishing. Partnering with Inlibra represents a significant step in extending the international reach of our authors and journals, connecting them with researchers and institutions across new markets.
