Reclam joins Inlibra

Reclam kommt zu Inlibra

The platform is expanding its offering to include one of the best-known independent publishers in the German-speaking world and is strengthening its profile in the humanities and social sciences

The digital academic literature platform Inlibra has secured Reclam Verlag as a new partner publisher. In future, selected digital publications from the humanities and social sciences published by this long-established publishing house will be available via Inlibra. With Reclam, the platform is expanding its offering to include one of the best-known independent publishers in the German-speaking world, providing libraries, universities and research institutions with access to further high-quality content in the fields of education, language, culture and social discourse.

Founded in 1828, Reclam Verlag is one of Germany’s leading independent publishing houses. Its catalogue combines literature, education, language and culture with topics from the humanities and social sciences, and has been synonymous with the publication of high-quality content for almost two centuries. The ‘Universal-Bibliothek’ is the oldest German-language paperback series still in print today.

Reclam is a publishing house joining Inlibra whose digital publications have been accessible to a wide audience via Bookwire for several years now. This partnership opens up new opportunities for research, teaching and study, and complements the existing range with topics that combine academic knowledge, cultural education and social awareness. The collaboration enhances the visibility of high-quality content from independent publishers and broadens the platform’s thematic scope.

We are absolutely delighted that a publisher with such a rich tradition has chosen Inlibra. This partnership strengthens our profile in the humanities and social sciences and demonstrates that independent publishers are increasingly seeking digital distribution and visibility solutions that place their content in a broader context.
