Inlibra gains UniversitätsVerlagWebler as a new publishing partner

Inlibra gewinnt UniversitätsverlagWebler als neuen Verlagspartner

New impetus for universities and academia in digital provision

Inlibra welcomes Bielefeld-based UniversitätsVerlagWebler as its new publishing partner. The publisher specialises in higher education topics and enriches Inlibra’s range in the fields of higher education research, development and policy. Researchers and students will in future benefit from quick and easy access to important specialist texts.

UniversitätsVerlagWebler was originally founded in 2001 as the publishing house for the journal ‘Das Hochschulwesen’ (HSW), the oldest surviving German academic journal specialising in higher education. Since the publisher’s inception, in addition to HSW, it has added four renowned specialist journals – ‘Hochschulmanagement’, ‘Qualität in der Wissenschaft’, ‘Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung’ and the ‘Zeitschrift für Beratung und Studium’ – as well as a total of eleven wide-ranging book series. Through its publications, the publisher promotes the exchange of research, development, policy-making and practical ideas for higher education and academia. Particular emphasis is placed on supporting young authors.

Whether decision-makers in higher education, academia, education policy and administration, university lecturers or early-career researchers – our readership has always been, and continues to be, diverse. We are delighted to be working with Inlibra, as we are convinced that this partnership will enable us to present our academic journals to an even wider specialist audience across the DACH region and to increase the visibility and reach of our publications.

Carolin Buthke , Publishing Director, UniversitätsVerlagWebler

UniversitätsVerlagWebler provides precisely the content that is currently being discussed at universities. The fact that we are now bringing together a long-established brand such as ‘Das Hochschulwesen’ and other specialist content on Inlibra brings very tangible benefits for both academic practice and university administration. We are delighted that Carolin Buthke and her team have placed their trust in us and look forward to working with them.
